Several reading groups have sent in some of the issues they discussed having read The Redeemed. Here is a sample of some of the topics.

1. Do you understand the attraction of charismatic churches?

2. Why are Americans particularly attracted to this form of worship? Does it have have any validity?

3. Is the pornography business a threat? How should it be tackled?

4. Is Father Lucas Starr - and the Catholic church - right to say that evangelicals lack humility?

5. A large portion of the American population believe in the literal truth of heaven and hell - are they useful concepts in the 21st century?
